I have 4 kids and Dr. Louvakis was our OB for our last one. I had seen every Dr. in the office to see which one we would go with and it just clicked with her. She’s very sweet and every visit would ask how baby was by name. Pregnancy was completely normal, all of previous babies were c-sections and we knew this was our last. We planned to my tubes during this one. During delivery, there were complications. Baby was healthy but I began bleeding out. She was calm while telling me everything that was happening and let me know they if they couldn’t stop the bleeding she would need to perform a hysterectomy. I have no doubt in my mind that her competency and skill saved my life and am forever grateful. She came and checked on me several times as I recovered. I know my situation is the one in a million chance of a complication which is why I thought it was important to say that in an emergency, you would want her as your Dr.
