Patient Reviews
Nov 15, 2023
Hi Dr. Zaid. I don't know if you remember me, but I'm a young man that you treated in Austin a few years ago. I rushed to the hospital with acute urinary retention from an obliterative urethral stricture. I was in quite a lot of pain and was panicking because I felt like my bladder could rupture. I'll forever be grateful for the tact, skill and professionalism with which you handled one of the worst moments of my life. I was visiting Austin at the time, so I followed up with another urologist and got a DCB dilation for the stricture four months later. I've been living stricture free since. Just wanted to give a quick word of thanks.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
