I had a severe emergency, and Dr. Hassan Fathy, MD, was assigned to my care. He was very kind and genuinely cared. He listened to my concerns, asked questions, and answered any questions I had. Previously, I was assigned to a different psychiatrist, who was very dismissive and did nothing about my nightmares and panic attacks caused by a traumatic event where I almost lost my life. Dr. Hassan Fathy said patients deserve better treatment, and he proved that with his actions. Kaiser needs more doctors like him. Although my condition is not 100% fixed, I don't expect overnight results as my symptoms have been pretty severe. Regardless, Dr. Hassan Fathy's treatment did help A LOT, and I am more optimistic about the future.
