What do you say about a doctor who literally saved your daughters life? We adored Dr. Rimer as soon as we met her at our daughter’s newborn check up but thinking about my daughter’s 18 month check up I can’t help but cry with gratitude. As soon as Dr. Rimer walked in I could tell something wasn’t right. She started asking a lot of questions and quickly left the room and came back with a lab order telling me we needed to rush to Dell Children’s for emergency blood work. The blood work showed our daughter was critically anemic and needed to be admitted to the hospital immediately. If it hadn’t been for her quick thinking, I honestly don’t know what could have happened. By the next morning we had four specialist in our room. We learned in the days that followed that Dr. Rimer had literally tracked them all down and gave them all her personal cell phone number just in case they had any questions about our daughter’s history and to be kept in the loop with what was going on.
