I had avascular necrosis of my femoral head, necessitating hip replacement at the relatively young age of 45. Dr. Berg performed my replacement in 1998. My career subsequently took me away from Amarillo, but my hip is still performing well almost 25 years later. Lots of biking and hiking miles have been possible over those years due to my excellent surgical outcome, for which I am grateful!
