Diagnosed with tumor in head of pancreas. It is through his experience and knowledge why I am still alive to type this. Even before the results of the biopsy were known, Dr Safran, through his experience, scheduled an aggressive course of action, pre-scheduling initial preps and infusions. He once called me his 'mini miracle patient'. Even though I believe in God, the miracle is the result of Dr Safran's experience and dedication. He always deflects praise to his team and others, but others continually praise him and speak very highly of him, patients and peers alike. I find him to be kind and sweet but also straightforward and professional. His staff is also a wonderful bunch, always willing to listen to you and have given me great advice. There is no question that I would highly recommend Dr Safran to anyone and hopefully they are lucky enough to be treated by him.
