Dr. Trinh was the first doctor I ever spoke to who believed me when I told her I was in pain. I’ve had debilitating periods since I was 11, and spent over 20 years being told by multiple doctors and obgyns that nothing was wrong with me except an abnormally low tolerance for pain. Dr. Trinh became my obgyn when I was in my early 30’s, and at our first appointment she said nothing about my symptoms sounded “normal” to her. She got my insurance to approve surgery and was able to diagnose endometriosis and pcos, as well as remove the lesions and cysts. She’s always very patient and explains things well. She’s also a very skilled surgeon; I’ve had both a laparoscopy and a laparotomy from her, and you can’t see any of my surgical scars.
