After RLN complication post-thyroidectomy, Dr. Mau and his team performed a vocal cord injection on me that takes a high degree of skill and patience. His treatment gave me back not only my voice, but also the ability to eat, drink- and cry. You can't cry when your voice fold is paralyzed, and when a supposedly routine surgery goes sideways like my thyroidectomy did, you want to be able to cry about it when needed... Dr. Mau, thank you.
