His staff needs to be more attentive to phone calls. The woman who answers the phone has been with him for years & can’t seem to handle multiple things. Constantly placed on hold when this person picks up the phone. Prescriptions to pharmacies don’t get completed properly & a pharmacy generally has to contact the office several times over a week to straighten it out. One drug was combined with another on the electronic form. When patient called on Monday (office is closed completely on Friday), was told doctor was on vacation & nurse practitioner was unavailable for the entire week. Doctor has no physician covering him for these problems. He is an excellent doctor, but he really needs to take on an associate so he can retire. Records for transferring to another physician were not complete. Billing department takes months to bill patients after insurance pays.
