Dr. Immerman is a star. After suffering excruciating pain in my hand and wrist for way too long we made a date to meet at UCSF. Not the most romantic setting and bit of a bummer that they don’t serve alcohol, but it was a short drive and they do have parking. Things were going really well. As usual, I talked too much but he nodded and smiled and didn’t seem to mind. He excused himself (bathroom break maybe) and after all my non-stop talking I’d worn myself right out and fell asleep. When I woke up I discovered he’d gone and fixed my hand and wrist and then put me to bed. Who does that?! He’d brought a bunch of his friends along who were so nice and they seemed to really care about how I was feeling. I was flattered that they went to so much trouble for me. All of that attention could have gone to my head!! We’ve had a few more dates since then. Always at UCSF (he seems to like it there) and I always have a good time.
