Patient Reviews

This brilliant man saved my life in 1986. I had pulmonary embolisms 12 days after a hysterectomy. At the time there wasn’t a surgical procedure to save me. One hospital gave me blood thinners. Didn’t work. Then I was helicoptered to where Dr Thorne was. There was a less than 1% chance I would live but because I was 35 and had 4 young children Dr Thorne worked through the night opening me up 3 times, to hand massage the clots out of my lungs. I’m 72 now and forever grateful for a daring, caring wonderful man who saved my life.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
