I just had my Light Adjustable Lens replacement done in one eye. However, my journey did not begin here. Three years ago, I had RLE done on my non-dominant eye with the goal of losing the use of readers and to clear up slight fogginess from a cataracts. Within a day of RLE I gathered up all my readers and tossed them in the junk drawer, I have never looked back. After a video consultation with Dr. Kopstein where he explained the procedure in detail and then discussed what conditions made me a candidate despite my younger age for the procedure. Dr. Kopstein performed my surgery less than a week later, and like I said, I have never looked back. After three years of great closeup vision my distant vision and vision in general started getting foggy and I started losing the ability to see colors with low contrast.
