I was referred to Dr. Wu by my therapist after going through 2 close friends passing back to back and having debilitating anxiety that did not allow me to leave the house. The thought of taking meds had me extremely anxious already but Dr. Wu was INCREDIBLY patient with me, understanding and truly feel like he cared about my path to getting better. His initial exam was 1 hour long and so in depth I felt a greater understanding of myself through the visit. He runs through a few options and lets you decide what you feel is best, always assuring me we would start with low dosages to see how I felt. He takes extremely detailed notes during our discussions and with every follow up, he reads me back my previous thoughts and mentally at that time. His method really give me insight on myself, almost like a therapy session. Fast forward 6 months, I can leave the house again, drive far distances, and go about my day regularly. I can't thank him enough and look forward to working together more.
