I moved back to Northeast Ohio from Arizona. I tried to locate my previous doctor, but found out that he had shut down his practice and joined Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He was no longer receiving patients. Through the network, I found Dr. Wolfe, as an intern at Lakewood Family Health, part of the Cleveland clinic. I decided to try him out, and I’m glad I did. During my first visit, I was diagnosed with type two diabetes, high blood pressure, gout, depression and obesity, along with a couple other issues. Three years later, I am down almost 90 pounds, my diabetes is stable with an A1c of 5.6. I am no longer taking metformin. All my other blood work now comes back in a normal healthy range. Between Dr. Wolfe’s leadership and my efforts, I am healthier now than I have been in 30 years.Dr. Wolfe’s dedication as well as his doctor patient relations are second to none. He is worth every mile of my 70 mile commute to his office. I couldn’t be more grateful to have him as my physician.
