I had a terrible experience with a different gynecologist before seeing Dr. Yancey. I was very anxious because I had received an abnormal Pap smear result from the other, received no phone call or follow up, and the provider was terrible in the appointment. Dr. Yancey was SO kind and answered all my questions. She put me at ease immediately, despite the intense anxiety I had. She is wonderful and I would highly recommend her, especially for anyone who is anxious or nervous. The office is clean and welcoming, wait times were great, and all the staff was kind. When my results came back, she remembered how nervous I was and was clear and communicated that all was well and the first one was inconclusive. I will be going to her from now on.
