I had to go to the emergency room in early April, 2024, for severe swelling under my chin, and my tongue was swollen for months. I was unable to eat or swallow liquids for over six weeks, and I was deteriorating rapidly. By this time, I had lost approximately 22 pounds. Dr. Cusser was the attending physician. He listened to me carefully and stated that he was basically a patch and immediately fix doctor, but he thought that steroids would be beneficial. Around the fourth day or so of taking the steroids, I was finally able to swallow liquids. I continued on prednisone, as this gave me back my life. Up until this point, my life was a nightmare. Dr. Cusser has no idea how he has given me back my ability to eat and be mobile, as I was too weak to walk due to my inability to consume anything. I will be forever grateful to him. I am sure I would not be here, if it were not for him. Dr. Cusser is an excellent doctor. Thank you!
