Dr Blasingame performed an ACL repair on my right knee in 1993 through UCSD Thornton Hospital in San Diego. The pre-op info and prep was very helpful. The surgery was fantastic, with minimal swelling and I was off the pain meds after 2 days. The post op info and transition to rehab was very smooth. Not sure of present post op protocol, but back then it was, ...get moving as soon as possible... Today, after 22+ years, I can say my knee is great, with very little to remind me of the injury.
