Patient Reviews
Apr 30, 2024
I have advanced glaucoma. Dr. Pitts performed both a laser and a minimally invasive surgical procedure on me. He actively encouraged me to seek a second opinion and never pressured me. He spent combined hours with me over multiple visits determining my best course of treatment. His treatment plan was corroborated by one of the most highly-recognized glaucoma hospitals in the US when I sought a second opinion. Dr. Pitts performed both procedures on me within the past year and I have the utmost confidence in his skills and abilities. I have seen multiple glaucoma specialists within the past 30 years and there is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Pitts is the best fit for me.He took the time to understand my condition and always made sure that I understood the pros and cons of various treatment methods. His compassion, knowledge, and surgical skills make me confident that I am making the right decision trusting him with my vision.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
