I can’t shout enough praises about my experience with Dr. Carpenter! During a routine eye exam, I was blown away by his expertise and thoroughness. As part of the exam, he carefully examined the blood vessels in my eyes and detected something that I never expected - elevated diabetes. I had no idea I was diabetic! Dr. Carpenter explained how high blood sugar could impact my vision and damage the small blood vessels behind my eyes leading to what is called “Diabetic Retinopathy'.Instead of pushing me through the prescription-mill, Dr. Carpenter shared the power of lifestyle changes and provided a comprehensive recommendation to address my high blood sugar. He also recommended a CGM that made the lifestyle change easy. I followed Dr. Carpenter's instructions and now 11 months later, I am pre-diabetic and looking forward to becoming non-diabetic! All Glory to God for directing me to Dr. Carpenter! I had visited THREE DOCTORS who didn’t catch this! He’s worth waiting in the lobby to see!
