Patient Reviews
Aug 24, 2024
In 2008, Dr. Norcross replaced my bi-leaflet aortic valve with a bovine valve. That surgery was highly successful, lasting 16 years, well beyond the typical 10-12 year lifespan. Recently, Dr. Norcross performed another surgery to replace that valve with a mechanical one and also addressed my dilated ascending aorta. It’s rare for a surgeon to have the opportunity to revisit their work 16 years later, and Dr. Norcross did so with exceptional skill and care.Dr. Norcross went above and beyond in explaining the details of the surgery, setting clear expectations, and answering all of my questions. After the surgery, he took the time to meet with my family, thoroughly explaining the procedure and addressing all of their concerns, which provided them with much-needed comfort. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Norcross and his surgical team for not one, but two successful surgeries!
