Patient Reviews
Aug 07, 2024
Love this doctor! He’s practical and thinks outside the box. Looks at each patient and provides care based on what’s best for the patient…VERY rare for an oncologist these days. Treated my AML without my needing a transplant. Coming up on 5 years in remission and am thankful to him and his group and the nurses at HUMC for saving my life in more ways than one. Still takes the time to see me at my appointments even though I know he now has bigger fish to fry than me. I tell everyone I come across who has AML to please go see him. For me, he is “the guy” and HUMC is “the place” for AML here.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
