When my daughter was born she was transferred to a hospital in South Jersey to see a specialist who then referred us to Dr. Katowitz at CHOP. Dr. Katowitz made sure he explained everything in ways we would understand, even pulling up charts and photos. He assured us that he would walk us thru all the steps which he did. He was direct but at the same time very compassionate. Now my daughter is two days post surgery and I am blessed to have a caring surgeon who walked us thru this very hard time.
