Dr. Gardner and I got off to a 'rocky' start and I was contemplating a request for another cardiologist. However, after I left a poor rating he personally called me and asked for an explanation for the rating. We had a very pleasant 20 minute conversation where we respectfully 'cleared the air.' I have respect for any physician, let alone a specialist, that will take the time to personal make a call to a patient and genuinely want to know what he did or didn't do to deserve my rating. I no longer am thinking about requesting another cardiologist and looking forward to my next appointment.
