I am writing this review as the daughter of one of Dr Tubb’s former patients. I heard the other day that Dr Tubbs is now retired, and while my words may echo futile at this point, I want to say to how much I -my family,- appreciate him for extending my father’s life and with good quality of life. It takes incredible skill and knowledge to perform a quintuple bypass in under four hours. My father, already 70 by that time, frail, a diabetic with a family history of hypertension and stroke, his chances of even surviving the operation were 50/50. He recovered on schedule and went on to live over ten more years, active, traveling, and enjoying his grandchildren. He was able to see his oldest granddaughter graduate from Ben Franklin and be accepted to Georgetown University. My children will never know that it is Dr Tubbs who afforded them this precious time spent with their grandfather. I hope Dr. Tubbs enjoys his retirement in good health and continued purpose.
