Was going to have prostate procedure done by another urologist, but my insurance would not pay at his hospital, so he sent me to Dr. Uy. Dr. Uy really saved my genitals and bowels from damage, as she suggested newer less invasive procedure. That procedure did have a long recovery period and I got an internal infection. Unfortunately, although my prostate was swollen enough for a procedure, that procedure did not stop the kidney flooding. Dr, Uy said she was 'stumped'. I was not happy that she didn't order more tests and refer me to someone more specialized or something. Eventually, I found a urologist who found the flooding was caused by my spinal injury. I had been telling all the accident doctors, kidney doctors and urologists about that issue, but no one took it seriously. The two other urologists I saw before Dr. Uy and the urologist who was supposed to analyze my urodynamics test also did not see that. I apparently needed someone with more specialized expertise.
