Okay so long story short… I had my period every 17 days and it was painful and overwhelming and I wouldn’t be able to do anything at all for the first few days. It’s became crippling. Turns out I had endometriosis and it was severe. Dr bowman did such a good job on my surgery. Honestly don’t waste your money like I did going to doctor to doctor to do tests. Go straight to dr bowman. She hears you and empowers you. She is not a coddler, but she gets sh!t done! She is who I recommend anyone who is looking for a hysterectomy to go to. Also… remove everything. I am in a group on Facebook with people who didn’t and oh boy… they have issues. Me over here… have the hormone patch the size of a dime and I switch it out every 4 days and I’m so golden. You do need time to recover. Two weeks minimum. Don’t take any chances. No stairs. And ice ice ice!!! Your recovery will determine your life going forward. Dr Bowman is a BOSS! I absolutely love her. Beautiful surgery. Couldn’t have gone better!
