I am very grateful to Janet Conway, MD for her recent treatment of my hip subluxation and leg length discrepancy. At the first visit I met a doctor who was down to earth yet highly professional. She did not simply consider me a “hip” patient but took an integrated approach, taking into consideration my medical issues – treating me as an individual. Dr Conway thoroughly explained her proposed treatment plan and answered all questions to my satisfaction. My surgery went well because of Dr Conway’s expertise. She not only gave me a needed hip prosthesis but also corrected my years-long leg length discrepancy. Before surgery, my leg was 1.25 inches shorter than my opposite leg. Now that they are equal, I no longer need to pay over $100.00 to have shoes for my right leg “built up” to make my legs even. Dr Conway was able to implant a long stem into my thigh bone so that I can now walk with equal length legs. I am thrilled! I definitely recommend Dr Conway to anyone with a complex issue.
