So grateful I was referred to Dr. Ahuero! I have been under his care for years concerning numerous ankle problems and surgeries, including a total ankle replacement, resulting from a badly broken ankle in 2015. He is an excellent surgeon who has always been so thorough and meticulous in my pre and post op care that I never have had a hint of a problem after surgery. He oversaw my PT and made sure I had all aids/supplies/help I needed during my non weight bearing weeks post op. Dr. Ahuero is flawless in being caring, helpful, and sympathetic. His bedside manner is wonderful and he never acts like he is in a hurry or rushing my appointment like most doctors seem to do. He always listens patiently to every question and concern, responding with understandable and knowledgeable answers. I also love his staff, particularly his MA Nhi and PA Jacqueline, who are always friendly and helpful! I can’t say enough about how great Dr. Ahuero is-thankful to be under his care!
