I was referred to Dr. Holdych by a colleague who was dismissed by other doctors but taken seriously by him, leading to their proper treatment. Dr. Holdych is now my primary care physician. He and his office have always treated me with respect and taken my concerns seriously, despite family medical emergencies causing me to be high-anxiety-high-alert for a time. He quickly and correctly diagnosed my Lyme before high fever onset or rash and I think it made a critical difference in the speed of my recovery. He also ordered a CT scan when I was concerned with shortness of breath and tachycardia when other doctors would have told me it was just anxiety. It confirmed extensive pulmonary emboli. My only caveat is that he's very difficult to book appointments with, perhaps bc of his popularity. I also hoped for more followup instructions post recent diagnoses and was a bit disappointed. A call would have been better over a portal note.
