Patient Reviews
Aug 30, 2024
Dr. Jay Mulaney performed cataract surgery on each of my eyes this summer, several weeks apart. Prior to these procedures, I had no previous surgical experience at 74 years of age. Going in, I had some concerns, especially with what is called 'floppy iris syndrome.' Dr. Mulaney had me temporarily discontinue Tamsulosin, as this medication has the potential to be involved with this sort of complication. I followed his instructions to the letter leading up to the cataract procedures. I believe Dr. Mulaney used at least one drug to mitigate the risk, and I think it was atropine. After each cataract procedure, the doctor told me that he was able to get the desired results. There were followups that confirmed those results, and I write this today to express satisfaction that I can describe as 'thrilled.' Those who know me well would be skeptical that I would use the word 'thrilled' ever. The office experience was as organized as I have ever experienced, and if you're worried about doctors
