I've been a patient of Intercommunity Medical Group for over a decade. My original doctor retired, and have now had Dr. Patel for approximately 7 years. I've had all positive interactions with Dr. Patel and find that he listens, responds promptly to phone calls, and offers referrals as needed. Now I'm someone who believes that proper diet and exercise is the cornerstone of good health, and am not interested in taking medicine without trying to get to the root of a problem. For example, blood pressure can often be controlled by altering diet, increasing exercise, losing weight, etc. I feel that Dr. Patel understands this correlation (as all doctors should) and is encouraging of proper health and lifestyle as the basis for good health. This in turn gives me confidence in my medical care here as I feel the philosophy is sound. My elderly father recently moved to live with me 5 years ago and also became a patient of Dr. Patel. My father is in his mid-80's and is still going strong.
