My late father (a 35 year Harvard trained MD and thoracic surgeon) told me that you can judge the prowess of a surgeon by how much pain the patient is in 48-72 hours after the procedure. I am here to say the out patient procedure done under GA by Dr. Casto has been almost pain-free in my case. It involved entry into my abdomen which is usually very painful following the discharge time. After 48 hours, I am up, moving nicely, with little to no discomfort. My thanks to Dr. Casto of the CAMC Lewisburg medical facility and his professional staff of PA and RNs. You guys are top drawer!!
