I was at TRH for physical therapy following an ORIF for a broken femur when I had a DVT on June 25, 2023 at approximately 6:18 pm. I flatlined and died 3x over the next 90 minutes. I had multiple rounds of CPR and I was not expected to survive. I credit Dr Laoang with saving my life, as he managed my care in the Emergency Department. Not only did I survive, but I escaped anoxic brain injury which is literally a 1 in 10 milllion event for someone who underwent multiple rounds of CPR and died on 3 occasions. It’s thanks to Dr Jeffrey Laoang that I’m alive today.
