A pre-surgery ECG came back with unexpected results and I urgently needed a cardiologist’s approval for the surgery to take place as scheduled. Dr. Ziffra made time for me, probably working later than expected that day. It was Valentine’s Day and I don’t doubt that he had plans for the evening. Even so, he took his time and gave me his full attention. He asked questions that went beyond the immediate concern of the ECG and the upcoming surgery. His questions and the time that he took to answer my questions not only put me at ease but also made me feel that he cared for me as a person and cared for my over all health. He was most gracious and easy to talk to, giving explanations that ordinary people could understand. I will definitely be seeing him to address the results of the ECG.
