I broke a tooth earlier in the year and had my dentist put on a crown. A few weeks later I got a pretty bad infection in the tooth and ended up with an abscess. I went to Dr. Hanzon he took scans and drained some of the abscess. He let me know that I would need a root canal and scheduled it for me. I was extremely nervous. I had never had a root canal and had only heard horror stories. I showed up to the procedure and was brought in immediately. The process was so smooth. He numbed the back of my cheek and gave me shots slowly. I felt next to nothing. Before you knew it, he was done. He showed me the before and after scans, and explained what he did. Gave me advice to manage any pain and told me to contact him if I had any issues. I prepared for the worse as I drove home. I knew when the pain meds wore off I would be dying in agony. The pain never came. I was eating dinner 2 hours after. The next day I felt great. I'm not even sure why I was nervous.
