I came to Dr. Hartzell after receiving two drastically different opinions on my surgery options from two other surgeons within ONE, hoping for a deciding vote. Dr. Hartzell was thoughtful and listened to everything I had to say, and gave his honest opinions and recommendations. He explained all aspects of care and recovery, even down to his specific PT recommendation for me. After we agreed upon the surgery I'll have done, he didn't even assume he'd be the doctor performing it and gave me the option to select a different surgeon which I found incredibly courteous. With the quality of care I received from him I absolutely wanted him to be the one performing it. They set me up with everything I need and put me on the surgery list. The two nurses that work alongside him were also delightful and so caring and informative. The whole team was wonderful and I give them my full recommendation.
