I had a serious emergency with an infection below a root canal that HAD to be done the day before I left on a 46-day cruise from New York to Europe and back. My dentist was also on vacation, but he had a substitute who saw me and referred me to the top oral surgeon in Westchester. Dr. Jeffrey I. Stein extracted the tooth, cleaned up the infection, and did a bone graft . He placed me on antibiotics for a week and provided written and oral instructions to both me and my husband for my post-operative care. This trauma was virtually pain-free with no complications, and I am enjoying my cruise and beginning to eat regular food again. The staff and doctor were extraordinarily skilled and compassionate.
