I ruptured my achelliez when I was in my late sixties and was told by my local doctor, that at my age I was not a good candidate for surgery. His sugestion was I should change my life style. On the way home from my appointment I told my wife I am not ready to change my lifestyle. We immediately made an appointment with Dr. Forrest. After she examined me, her recommendation was immediate surgery. She reattached my achelliez, designed a protocol for my rehab and today I can honestly say the surgery was a total success.
