Dr. Poehls is very thorough and methodical in her examination, without being too technical. She is an extremely competent endocrinologist and made me understand all the intricacies behind my thyroid condition; it could be because that I am in the health field. Her bedside manner is impressive, she is caring, and gave me an impression of showing empathy to the patient. She is the best of the best and UW is lucky to have her.
