I also felt compelled to write a review because truly this is the best psychiatrist I have ever ever ever worked with. I saw Dr. Bastiaens for years, through various stages of my life, and every visit I felt heard. He has been the only psychiatrist among dozens who I felt like actually worked with me and kept my personal goals in mind while figuring out solutions. He was INCREDIBLY patient with my questions and request for clinical evidence and even my denial of needing care while in MH crisis. Not only did I feel like he listened to me, but I could tell he would actually take a moment to think about what I said.
