In an unfortunate visit to the emergency room at Banner Ocotillo, I was fortunate enough to go at a time when Dr. Zahn was on duty. Very apologetic about the time I had to wait to be seen by her, even though I only had to wait about an hour, which in the emergency room is immediately. She was very personable, sat down at my level, and intently listened to all my symptoms and long story, not interrupting me once. She performed some physical tests on me, explained my potential diagnosis in easy to understand terms, ordered imaging and pain meds for me while I waited for imaging and results. She treated me like I was the only patient in the emergency room and gave me all the time I needed to be understood. Not once did I feel rushed. This was the best experience I've ever had in an emergency room.
