Dr. Baumgartner gave me trigger point injections all over my shoulders and nerve blocks in my neck. Both times, we had a thorough discussion of the procedures, what I should expect, and he listened to how my prior procedures went with other doctors. I really appreciated that he didn't just stick a bunch of needles and medication in me without giving me any sort of run down on the procedures. His PA was also wonderful. If I ever need injections again, I will definitely try to have him do them as the other pain management doctor who did these procedures for me in the past was awful. I'm so relieved I can trust Dr. Baumgartner with these very sensitive and painful areas of my body. I'm not worried that I'll be sent into months-long flair ups of horrible, debilitating pain after seeing him.
