From the moment you meet Dr. Calafell, he treats you like family. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Surgery can be scary, but it is easier when you know you are in good hands. He looks out for the best interest of the patient and makes medical decisions that will not only solve your problem, but will afford you the best quality of life post-operation possible. He is one of the best doctors I’ve had the pleasure of seeing. He checks up on his patients even when it is out of his way, even when most other surgeons wouldn’t. He goes above and beyond for his patients. I truly could not sing higher praises for this doctor and would recommend him to anybody needing general surgery services. He is an amazing surgeon and an exemplary doctor.
