I was on my way to being a diabetic when I first met Dr. Sawady. He prescribed cardio and when he saw that i was not making the effort required to change my life he let me no in no uncertain terms that he expected better. Pertaining to sweets and junk food he would say"every once in awhile". Well I moved away ballooned up to 296 lbs and all the while kept saying to my wife" Like Dr. Sawady said -every once in awhile. The research led me to intermittent fasting and I worked my way to 20 hours of fasting a day still eating junk but every once in a while. I am currently at 247 lbs that gut is long gone and I take glimipiride for my diabetes. His care and compassion and I know you can do better than that helped and sustained me ALL this time as I worked on myself to lose weight and be healthier. I STILL say to my wife' Like Dr. Sawady said"every once in awhile". Just want to thank you very much for your help. Couldn't have done it without you. Can now walk 5 miles on the tread at 3.8 while singing and can do 2 Bodyproject videos on Youtube back to back w out sitting down. I will never forget you and thank you again.
