I went in to see Dr Orsini after seeing another doctor who dismissed my concerns regarding my low back/pelvis pain. For background I’m a female distance runner with by D deficiency and calcium deficiency. I suspected a Sacrum stress fracture as pain symptoms are in line with typical signs. The first doctor gave me a L1/L2 “wait and see” befit doing any real testing. Dr Orsini listened to my story, my background, did an actual exam and took a more patient centered approach than the doctor before who basically said all adults have back pain so we need to wait and see approach and scheduled an MRI as quickly as possible (and likely had to fight with insurance to do so) so we can confirm or deny our suspicion and get the right treatment.
