Dr. Volpe is one of the most personable, capable physicians I have encountered. He is also very caring. I had a recent scare and multiple-day hospitalization for a bowel issue which was treated non-surgically but under the care of a surgical team. They wanted a follow up colonoscopy and sent the records to Dr Volpe while he was on vacation. I was discharged on a Saturday He called me that Sunday night after he returned to let me know he had reviewed the records and he did not anticipate any serious issues. He discussed a plan of treatment and answered every question I had. On a Sunday night because he knew we were anxious and he wanted to reassure us. The Endoscopy Center is also first rate and I have nothing but praise for the nurses and other professionals there. .
