Patient Reviews
Oct 20, 2024
After having had a cataract removed from my right eye several years ago, I experienced the development of a film of cells that obscured that vast majority of my vision. Despite having been treated by both retina and glaucoma specialists for years, neither took my complaints or concerns seriously. It required only one consultation with Dr John Allen, in early August of 2024, for him to agree that the condition required intervention.Dr. Allen warned me that the condition was obliterating about 95% of my vision , and that laser surgery might not be enough to clear it all up. However, after only about 5-10 minutes behind the laser, Dr Allen had me straightened out! The surgery was about 6 weeks ago and I have not experienced any problems or side effects. Now my vision has been restored, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.Thank you Dr Allen!

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
