Many things stand out. The professionalism on display from the entire team, from my initial evaluation appointment to my most recent post surgical followup. How well the nurses, operating staff, and post-op PT worked together to make the surgical experience as seamless and painless as possible. I was so impressed by Dr. Macy. Even given the number of surgeries he has done, he still wanted to do extra imaging for pre-surgical planning purposes. He walked me through the procedure to make sure I understood everything that would transpire. In followup appointments, he gave me well thought out advice regarding ramping up physical activity. Insofar as I can tell, there's not an arrogant bone in the man's body. High expertise and humility are rarely bedfellows. I've had a quicker, less painful recovery to a fuller range of motion than I anticipated. If the other shoulder joint erodes away, or if I have an issue with the new one, I'd go to Dr. Macy in a heartbeat.
