I went to Dr. Shin for a second opinion, as I felt that the urgency expressed by the first ophthamologist was inconsistent with the level of discomfort that I was experiencing. Dr. Shin, without knowing the details of the purpose of my visit, examined me and found that surgery was NOT necessary at this time. He was highly professional, clear in his explanation of the reasons, and has me returning for progress checks. I trust his decisions.
