I am prone to having skin cancer and need a full body scan every year. I had an appointment with Dr. Caplan. He did not exam me and my appointment was actually bizarre. I had a small, healing cut on my nose. To justify the minute he spent with me he grabbed a freeze can and started spraying my nose without saying a word. He then hustled out the door saying I will see you next year for a full exam.I complained to their COO and she arranged another body scan with Dr. Stoner. He was very professional and did an outstanding job. He was also very candid and honest concerning my disfigured nose. I guess I will just have to live with it.He also examined another medical situation and made another appointment and corrected it. He is a good doctor. It is a shame Dermatology Associates rating is pulled down because of one doctor who happens to be the senior physician. Dr. Caplan’s current rating is 1.8 and Dr. Stoner’s is 5. Average the two and you have 3.4. The practice is better than that.
